Information
Suitable for 3D models, etching and engraving, signage, jewelry and much more. Australian sourced and manufactured using carefully selected NSW Jarrah veneers and formaldehyde free glue adhesives. Jarrah is renowned for its rich red colours that deepen over time. The heartwood ranges from deep browns to burgundy hues
Vector and raster engraving
Both vector and raster engraving are possible. The material gains a darker colour in the engraved areas. The thicker the engraving, the darker the colour.
Laser cutting
Top – A slight darkening of the wood will appear along the score lines. This can be removed by applying a film before cutting. You can choose to add this option when you place your order.
Edges – The edges look brownish and can rub off. This can be removed by wiping with a cloth or lightly sanding. The thicker the MDF, the darker the edges.
Bottom – There will be some discoloration on the bottom after the cutting process. Usually it is a honeycomb pattern, depending on the material on which it has been cut. You can opt to add a protective film to your order, which will remove most of this.
